In years past we've had between 0 and 15 kids. Grabbed about 20 full sized chocolate bars from Dollarama today & we've had 10 kids tonight. Lots of leftovers!

I shake my head at Aussies complaining about American influence. That ship sailed in 1942, get over it.
Also there are lots of old people yelling at clouds with complaints around how dare kids come to my house expecting a handout.

We're shutting 'er down now at 132.
Record blow out of kids, but we're out...we're just out. The prospect of scrounging the kitchen drawers and distributing fortune cookies of indeterminate age and questionable provenance was the last straw.
We stretched the provisions as far as we could but we were anticipating about 50 kids less than that.
We shall be more prepared next year.

Up to 50 kids - definitely an improvement over the last couple of years. I’m happy that kids who might not have gotten to do a lot of trick or treating because of covid could get out and experience it.

Looks like things are done in my area. Only 47 kids, seems to be fewer every year.

Parents who take their kids out at 5 o’clock? Shameful. Let the working class stiffs at least get home.
Older kids who are out before sundown? We used to have a word for that, lame-os

Still getting kids trickling in. Quite a few teens, some with elaborate costumes. Love it. 56 now, solid rebound from last year.

In a new house this year and probably had about 120 kids. That was a blast. Had to shut er down at 7:45 when we ran out. My little one was pretty proud of her Halloween decorations for brining all the kids in her mind.

Things have trickled off, and I'd be surprised if we got any more. Looks like it's going to wrap up at 22. Not our best, but it's looking like 20-30 is about the average of what I can expect.
