Not sure about that call. Look like they kinda engaged each other. Just looked bad. At least 2 is better than 5.

As I said, Oiler fans aren't the best and brightest.

Nice ninja edit.

I am very insecure. About the same as an Oiler fan posting on a Flames fan site?

He is right, the penalties have been wacky. Yeah some are legit, but canada has been very fortunate.

That McTavish play was just incredible.

Play of the year candidate, wow.

I changed the channel out of instinct on that 3 on 1 chance by Finland and then had to change back.

I love the way the Finns play at any tourney. Give me Canada-Finland in any finals over our quote-unquote rivals of the US or Russia. Felt bad for them, but so happy for our guys.

McTavish, K.Johnson.

Gaudreau and Johnson could be something insanely creative and deadly in the next year or two.

That McTavish save was mind boggling… never seen anything that close not to mention a saved goal on a sudden death gold medal game…

Just bonkers.

Some really good players on this team and a whole bunch more that aren't there.

Great job by the coaching staff and players to get this done.

I'd be curious as to why he fell to the 2nd. On the day of the draft, he was someone I would have been fine with the Flames taking in Coronato's spot...let alone Stromgren's, Size and sample size, sure. But he just looked that amazing from the eye test even back then and I believe was expected to go in the 1st round. Most teams must have had something in their records that spooked them.

The Covid draft sure is going to look wonky in hindsight.
