This is fine. He's cheap depth... I like cheap depth.

I think there's room for both.

RD
Andersson
Tanev
Gubranson
Meloche (7th)

RD Depth
- Kylington/Valimaki swing
- Stone (2 way probably to mentor the Heat players in Calgary)
- Boltmann* (Not AHL level yet)

I think we acquire more RD prospects. I believe we literally have no RD reserves for the Heat. I assume we acquire 2 more RD. I think Poirier might be able to swing to RD, but that's still thin as hell.

LD pipeline we have a ton long term who can be reserve in Mackey/Poolman/Lerby/Poirier/Kuznetsov/Whynot/Jordan/Solovyov with the first two who will likely play on the heat.

Would have preferred Stecher to Meloche tbh.

I wonder about Stone - I think he has shown that he should be a regular in the lineup. Wouldn't surprise me if he has some interest outside of Calgary that he is considering. Hopefully he stays though - I like Stone.

No more Gudbranson, probably no more Zadorov.

Come on Meloche, the spots on our blueline are open wide.

I guess this is my favorite signing of the day.
24 years old, 6'3, stay at home guy. I think Sutter can work with him.

Stone is a Calgary man now. Married a Calgary girl he met as a Hitman, returned to Calgary because she wanted to be home. Bought out by Calgary, re-signed by Calgary. I don't think he'd garner much interest anyway.
