Isn't it something like 91% of game 4 winners go on to win the series?

Edit" N/M that's wrong its like 65% ish

Games 2 and 3 I had to PVR. This one I will watch live. That did the trick last series when they were down 2-1.

You are all welcome.

We all wanted Mike Smith after game 1. We got him.

there is no way this washed up loser can keep this up.

Even Trevor Kidd got it to a Game 7.

It's been said many times in this thread but almost all of the Oilers non-PP goals have come off the transition. Usually a flubbed puck or turnover and McDavid goes the other way.

Seems like something that is entirely fixable. Just can't allow so many odd man rushes, thats a bad plan. This is really just when McDavid is on the ice. I expect this to be corrected big time tonight.

Back to Flames hockey baby!

Team that wins Game 4 to go up 3-1, wins the series 89.2%.

With that being said, I don't think it has as much to do with winning game 4 per se but more so going up 3-1 in the series. Because even if we win and it goes 2-2, it still becomes almost a split for who wins the series.

Flames winning the series in game 6? You realize game 6 is in Edmonton, right? I can't think of any other place I'd rather have the Flames win a series with a road win than in Edmonton. Let's do it!

Gam4 is always huge. It's either a sweep or a series saver if it's 3-0 going in. Or, in the only other scenario (2-1), it's a tie or a 3-1 stranglehold.

Win or lose (preferably a win of course), I just want the Flames to come out hard, show that they are a dominant 5 on 5 team, and fricking hit everything in sight. I feel like we've not had our guys punish the Oilers enough physically. The emotional roller coaster of this series has been something. I want it to swing back up for us tonight.

This is why game 4 is arguably the most pivotal game of any series. No, it's not an elimination game, but there's a big difference between a 3-1 vs. 2-2 series, and game 4 is the deciding game for that (well, other than 3-0 vs 3-1 I guess).

I honestly don't care what happens after this series. If we get beat by the Avs I can live with it. I just can't handle losing to the Oilers. I'm sure I'm not alone here, but I feel like I will take this harder than the players. Please win.

That has always been the fear with a BOA series. Boomer had us fans pegged right. It's not so much about winning against the other team, rather it's more about not losing to them.

Guys, the Flames will go back to focusing on playing their game and we are going to win the next 3. No way we are losing to this pathetic group. Let's fn go!

It's just an entertainment product with guys employed by these brands going out and doing their jobs. No point in letting that affect you too much. Also, whichever team wins, any fan that uses that to try shaming a fan of the other team is just showing that they're kind of a twit.

Last time Oilers beat Flames twice in a row , Flames went on to beat them thrice in a row.
So let's do this again.
