Playoffs... how superstitious are you?

Regular season: after a loss I never listen to fan 960 until the next game day.

Playoffs: same as above. Also, after a win for the next game, I wear the exact same outfit & jersey, eat the same meal, drink the same drink and sit in the same spot.

So yeah, I now I need to go get another bottle of Bumbu for game 6.

I had a beard in 2004 I shaved before game 6 vs Tampa. Started growing a beard on Oct 1 2021 for the first time in 18 years.

Probably just a coincidence. Will shave it soon

I’m not superstitious in any area of life except the Flames. Some of mine:
- never look at CP GT during a game. Usually results in a loss if I do;
- never buy a hat or anything at dome on a loss;

-During this run my 04 jersey is 2-0 while my retro is 0-1. It is now gone back in the closet;
- Away games changed seats on couch from game 3 to game 4

Finally during the regular season, my ball hockey team lost for the Flames to win. Convinced of it. Every time we won a game (not much) Flames lost and when we lost, Flames won (paging AC)

Not at all superstitious, but in this series when I watch at the bar or just out with friends the Flames lost both games.

When watching alone at home, 3-0.

Pretty sure I need to watch from home tomorrow.

Ok, found the away formula that worked tonight.

No texts or CP (posting) during the game.

Found the clothes combo to wear, after 1 period changed.

Tried a new viewing setup, which will be required for away games R2 with how loud I will get and spare the family from it.

Wear contact lenses and need to sit in the one chair. In playoffs I'm a nervous wreck who paces around the house. Finally thought...go sit in that chair and voila things turned for the better.

After worrying way too much about superstitious #### for games 1-6, tonight I said screw it and just watched the game and didn't worry about my action having any impact on the game. After Johnny potted that OT winner, I felt like he was channeling his inner Pedro Cerrano

Flames have won every game when I worked out for the first period, and lost every time I didn’t. I just couldn’t do it with the 8:30 start, so this was my fault. I know what I have to do.

Bought a Flames hat at the HHOF after game six vs Dallas, wore it and won until game 2, not sure if I should wear it for game 3.
