Hard to get a good view but that looked straight to the head. They way Sam’s head snapped back did not look good. Plus it was blindside and possibly a bit late.

Should have been a penalty and Washington should not be winning. Series defining non-call.

Certainly not late nor blindside.

But head was first point of contact.

From the second angle, obvious hit to the head.

Seems like an excuse, it's one call/goal...there have been bad calls/non calls both ways

Nice to see Caps players filling in for Wilson during his absence.

Bennett bending his knees 4 inches didn’t help. Capitals player didn’t leave his feet, and Sam in an area where you have to expect contact cutting across the offensive blue line with the puck.

Edit: He lost the puck and ducked his head down and turned his body toward Oshie as well, suddenly, to look back for it….wrong place and time to do that…and obviously certainly didn’t help with his head positioning for a hit.

If he didn’t lose the puck and look down and back for it so suddenly, and almost turn into Oshie, the hit hits him in the shoulder and chest as intended.

The Flames game will be on all channels as there is no threat of overtime in Pittsburgh.

Definitely was a hit to the head that was missed, leading to a goal... Terrible reffing

I don’t think you know what the word excuse means.

It literally led directly to the go ahead goal with 7 minutes left in the 3rd. It couldn’t be any more of a reason for the events that transpired.
