I’d say this Rangers Penguins series has been the best so far.

He's still very much hurting.
Was it ever disclosed what the injury was?

When it happened I remember thinking "high ankle sprain" at best. Thats a good 6 week recovery.

Then again it looked similar to Ritchie a month ago and he only missed 2 games iirc.

The best game and result , so far, was the LA Kings victory last night.

That's my guess as well, which is why he looks so tentative. I'm sure he'll get stronger as the series goes on, but it's noticeable so far.

That's a tough one. It looked like the original line the Ranger was on lead into the goalie. The Pen's player definitely directed him in though

Seemed like interference to me, you can't just crash the goalie.

I don't think he made any effort to avoid contact. The line he was taking was going to take him into DeSmith no matter what.

I was wrong. Fair enough. But I don’t agree with it.

Yeah...Kakko clips DeSmith in the head before Dumolin takes them both out....good call.

That play is only acceptable if you're McDavid. If he drives the net, everyone, including the goalie has to cede the ice.

Exactly. The McDavid right of way is not a real rule.

Are you accusing Ron Maclean of lying?

Legitimately though, if that was McDavid driving the net, the goal wouldn't have counted, but you can be sure the Pens player would have been in the box for interference.
