I think many people just see them as the least threatening option for a potential playoff match up, if by some miracle they not only made the playoffs but also had the 7th seed (because Colorado would walk over them).

If they do make the playoffs, they will probably be one of the hottest teams going in over the past few weeks. That is always a threat and I would rather play the team that has been just hanging in there all season.

The comeback win against the Stars was our springboard to the 10-game win streak and ultimately the division crown. Although it is a back-to-back, the Stars will be angry, motivated, and desperate following last nights loss in Edmonton. The Flames should be equally motivated following the SO loss to Nashville and with an opportunity to clinch the division. This could be the last truly meaningful game until the playoffs start.

Need to see a convincing win against a decent team. Haven't had one of those in a while. hard to gauge where this team is at right now. Having said that, I really don't want any part of Nashville in the first round if it can be avoided. That series would be a war. So a loss isn't the end of the world.

Johnny needs three points tonight to keep pace in the art ross race.

I don't hate a loss tonight, keeps things interesting between Nash/Dallas and means we can clinch on Saturday instead (selfishly I dont want them to clinch and rest on Sat)

The thing with Vancouver fans, is that they get a LOT of bandwagoners when things are going really good. That's not really a knock against the team, it's more a problem with the city itself. All the pretentious d-bags that live in Vancouver and spend their time chasing whatever happens to be popular at any given time. Those are the "fans" that show up when the team is in the playoffs. They're the ones that know absolutely nothing, are only there for the parties and social media pics, and will always get in anyone's face as often as they can. These are the ones that start the riots and fights, etc. Anything to drive up that Instagram traffic!

I find the actual Canuck fans to be nicer and far more grounded in reality than Oiler fans are. The bandwagoners are legit the worst though.

Time to dominate one of the potential playoff matchups.

Physically crush them.
