I'll take an upgrade in hockey IQ over hitting ability any day, and that's coming from someone who loves a good clean and hard check.
Mackey is the future. Zadorov is not a smart hockey player. He had a good run, but I'm very happy to move on from him ASAP.

We are talking about the playoffs that start in less than a month...Zadorov will be playing and should be playing.

Right now though? Some talk in the last few posts that involve making some fairly significant lineup changes at game 72 of the season are mind boggling. Sure, try Kylington if you want at forward next year in training camp (I still prefer him way more on D) but right now, a month before playoffs?! And talks about changing the bottom pairing on D now after 1 game from Mackey after they've helped establish a new identity for the Flames through the first time 72 games?

According to Evolving Hockey's GAR Kylington has been a top 30 dman in the NHL this year.
The idea that we should be moving him to wing because Stone/Mackey have had a couple okay games is ridiculous.
