Looks like Darryl's in a good mood today. Relaxed, smiling, joking, longer responses...

This team needs to clean up pk, zone clearing and breaking through the neutral zone. Kings are going to clog again. Fast, clean passes tonight boys.

I wonder of vladar plays most of the season after Flames clinch. What's the earliest that can happen?

Why do you feel that you always have to attack the Flames?

I think the goal now is to clinch the division. Once that is locked in, I think we see vladar get some games to get markstrom a break.

Yeah, it’s always exhausting when someone comes up with a factually substantiated opinion.

Maybe , try it sometime.

He is a good poster and the thing is he doesn't even say anything that is not true. I do give him credit for being first to defend the Flames and argue haha I would have given up after 2 days.

because I don't think the Kings are an AHL team? look at their record, even with guys injured. Three regulation losses in their last 10 games against NHL teams many of them fighting for playoff spots.

I just try and steer the conversation towards reality, if you can think of some way to justify calling the Kings an AHL team go for it I'm all ears.

No, the Flames didn't pay me to defend the Kings...who are three points back of the Flames

This is going to be a tough game, Kings are looking at this as a chance at home to get within one point of first place

One day when they are retired someone should host a round table of Renney, McLellan, Eakins and Tippett and see who can come up the biggest WTF moment they had up north. My guess is the ENG stuff we talk about is scratching the surface.

McLellan is a good coach, he was in San Jose and is again now. Got these guys playing well despite injuries and hitting above their weight...and maybe it's because they don't have the ego in the room that is Doughty.

As said in the PGT Saturday, I think Sutter takes his foot off the gas when it comes to pushing players, at least for the first half of the trip. I think the team getting refocuses away from home for a week does a world of good.

5-2 tonight.

In which case, this is a pretty big game. A loss in regulation and the division gets a whole lot tighter.

A win in regulation and you can see a path for resting Markstrom.

What happens in the room stays in the room. Unless it's all left on the ice.

Just wanna see more traffic screening, creating havoc in front of their goalie.

Need some faster transition out of our zone as well and that can be achieved with some solid forechecking and backchecking by our forwards which will lead to a more active Defense getting involved.
Stone , Raz and Z can fire bombs hopefully hitting the net for some juicy rebounds for players waiting for loose pucks.

We've been shooting allot yes but mostly perimeter shots that every goalie can see.
We need some pucks bouncing off asses , skates, sticks whatever and into the net .

I'm tired of opposing goalies all looking like vezina caliber goalies when they just aren't.
