This is why we need a 3-2-1-0 points system, Both teams sitting back now trying to preserve a point instead of trying to win a game in regulation and earning three points.

Meh. The Oilers are a good team on the powerplay, in 3 on 3 ot and in the shootout. If they do squeak in they're not going far.

Congrats to the Oilers on winning the Cup in the gimmicky skills comp OT. That team is in for a shock when they find out there's no 3 on 3 in the playoffs.

It doesn’t help to try to tire out the oilers if you don’t make them skate at all.

Passing the puck around in your own zone isn’t going to tire out the other teams players.

Imagine blowing a 3 goal lead and then acting like that when you win in OT... especially Smith

How the heck did that even go in, looked like Husso had it

Exactly this. The Oilers have no clue how to defend, if you have the puck then attack. Frankly I’m not upset that the Blues didn’t get rewarded for playing so dumb.

No wonder the Blues are 1-7 in OT. Looked totally clueless out there.

Flames would beat the Oilers or Blues in a 7 game series IMO

Well probably much Shorter than that

Turned to SN to see the fantastically elite OT goal and subsequent celebration. That team truly is the best in history.

Ocean motion 6-5 hockey is for scrubs.

Playoff teams know how to lock it down and play games tight.

Oilers are ....the opposite of that.

It's ok. They don't know what playoff hockey looks like as they're never in it for more than a business week.

So Zegras took a poke at the Coyotes goalie going for a lose puck and Beagle drills him in the back with a cross check. Then things escalated after that and Beagle just started absolutely feeding Troy Terry who wasn't ready for it at all and hadn't even dropped his gloves. Absolutely classless from Beagle. Then Tyson Nash commentating about how those young players need a good beating for being all hot doggy and stuff.

If the Flames were getting blown out and someone was poking at the goalie I would want Zadorov or somebody to tune them in too

I'm good with all the fancy moves and what not, in a 5-0 game expect something if you are digging around the net
