Given that Eat Bread has 30 goals on the season, he's quite a streaky scorer. He also had a 1g in 11gm stretch in January too.

16 games in 31 days.

Not as easy as some would like to think.

A point is about what the Flames deserved in this one. Move on, I guess.

Meh.

Looks like a scoring slump to me.

Those happen. Just need these guys to shake off their respective monkeys in the next four weeks.

Some of you really expected the Flames to play .900 hockey from the ASB to the end of the season. Might have to settle for .700 and a division win

Flames again with a 60 or 70% effort tonight.

It didn't help that it appears that most of the forward ranks are snake bitten at the same time right now.

First prolonged slump for Mangiapane, which takes away from our middle six scoring where he's usually reliable...
It feels like Toffoli has been fighting it for a couple weeks now as well.

Clinching the division prior to that final road trip will be crucial. Giving key players that week off will be a huge factor in avoiding a situation where they get worn out during the playoffs.

I feel like sutter is not showing our hand to the rest of the league

Maybe the team is learning how to play tighter and is in an adjustment period.

I think 960 just nailed it:

Dog days.

Think LA caught the Flames sleeping. I think they need to get back on the road to re-engage. Suddenly all this prolonged time at home after the success over the last two months and I think they're drifting off at the wheel a bit.

A lot of ebbs and flows in an 82 game season.

We are playing our top players every game, doubt there are many secrets.

I think the 2nd and 3rd line is not what it’s going to be come playoff time.

Which is probably 8-9 on even terms.

Going to need to manufacture some urgency though, to prepare for the post-season.

I'm not going crazy right, that was a totally missed call on the Kylington hit right?

Lol'd at Hrudey not being able to avoid being so excited about his bff McDavid winning in Edmonton last night.

When it comes to the playoffs, the team that has their best players playing better than the other teams’ best players usually win the series.

The Flames know that and maybe that’s why they’re not in a hurry to sign a couple of them.

What does that have to do with this game

Flames can't prove anything about the playoffs until the playoffs. Tonight was a tie against the 2nd place team in the division. Flames didn't have their A game though
