Solid, smart and responsible game.
With 5 games in 7 nights, it almost looked like they were pacing them selves a little bit. They’re going to need to play that kind of Sutter hockey for this stretch and hopefully come out healthy.

Now bring on the ATL salt!

Sucks they got that lucky bounce goal I was hoping for the shutout.

Toffoli has fit like a glove and providing that secondary scoring.

In my opinion the 2 holes I would like to plug up front would be upgrading on Ruzicka and Lewis current spots in the lineup.

The first lines kind of cancelled out each other all game until the end when Johnny got the insurance goal. Not the prettiest BOA game but Flames did what they had to do to get the two points and put a nail in the Oilers coffin.

Flames really clamped down on the Oilers tonight.... just that fluke goal.

now Markstorm made some good saves as well, so not like they didn't have chances, but he really deserved the shutout.

in watching that replay on the Lucic push, Broberg looked to be 4-5 feet off the blueline...I am glad the kid wasn't hurt, but I don't think Lucic was trying to do anything malicious either.

I hope it's just an extension of the normal ATL salt.

Not the Flames best effort tonight but really have the Oilers nothing and played a low event game.

After winning 5 straight when they fired Tippett the Oilers have now lost 6 of their last 8 games.

Not the prettiest win, but I'll take it. Flames were a bit off tonight after the high of beating Colorado the other night. But there was plenty to like in this game:

Johnny was clutch once again.

Toffoli was awesome. What a brilliant pick-up by Tre.

Markstrom was terrific.

Flames finally figured out how to play McDrai and held them to 0 points.

Oilers suck and were only in this game because of dumb flukey luck. Garbage team is garbage and the better team won. Suck it, Edmonton!

Great game planning from the coaching group. Took the emotion out of it and just choked the grease out.

Kylington messier than usual but he was trying to create out there. Hanifin cleaned up his own mistakes very well. Ruzicka is so good, i want to see more of this Mangiapane-Ruzicka-Toffoli line.

The Oilers will be spending about 22 million on Nurse, Keith, Barrie, and Ceci next year.
