Hahaha this is amazing, it’d be like the Flames hiring Mason Raymond to coach just because he’s an Alberta boy… all be it no Stanley cup pedigree but still.

The very first coach of the Montreal Canadiens was also their first captain, Jack Laviolette.

Maybe St. Louis will strap on the blades and become a player-coach, so the franchise can come full circle?

Gorton was a pro scout and AGM with the Rangers during MSL's stint there. Maybe he thought MSL would make a great coach

Ha ha ha. One has to wonder if this organization is getting better or worse than the last regime. The current product can't get any worse than it currently is but with this clown show I'm not sure if it's going to get better.
