If they want to grow the game maybe they shouldn’t send the best players of the year but bring the ones with the most personality. These guys are stiff.

Is it my imagination or at one point did teams send their best skill guys from their own team competitions to the skill comp (and not necessarily all stars). Back when it was mostly skating, slap shot.

I don't mind the concept of that fountain faceoff but I feel the execution was really awful. I also really dislike Gerry Dee so he didn't make it any easier to watch.

They did that once or twice but you ended up with several no names.

Some of these events are kind of random. Zadorov probably ends up winning hardest shot or fastest skater for the Flames. They are trying to showcase their stars.
