The Flames already have guys who can punch faces. Too many of them, I'd posit, but at least guys like Lucic and Zadorov can actually play. Ritchie does nothing.

I really like the camera angle here. Probably as close to the Saddledome as you are going to get in the NHL.

Well that’s an even up call. That’s a basic hit on Backlund who isn’t staying on his feet with that sort of contact, no matter if the stick got tangled in there or not.

Could be 3-1 for either team with a couple more bounces each way. Very sloppy hockey.
