Logan's original plan was to acquire GoJo, so I read this as either finishing what he started, or more specifically, doing what he couldn't.

Sure, but Logan didn't know the company was a fraud. He would have killed the deal and sued them into oblivion.

Kind of, but then knowing Tom, he wouldn’t do that. I was thinking somebody might go off that balcony but not by their own choice.

But she could just say she was working angles, getting info, never committed to anything.

They still have a user base, though not India-sized, that they could get at a discount.
Assuming not a ploy by Mattson and Ebba to trick Waystar into backing out and looking incredibly dumb and getting them at a discount. Like, why would they admit that?

But they also found out he just bought code from others, so there are legal problems as well. Sounds like a big bomb you don't want to be near. Of course, this is all made up stuff to move the plot, which is fine, but I'm just not buying it.

I don't think the insinuation was that his code was faulty or fraudulent, but basically that his whole persona as a "coder" is a myth when the reality is the real coders built the company. I think this is a dig at Elon Musk (or similar types). I don't think it was sold as further legal issues.
The original deal with Waystar buying Gojo was for the platform (remember Roman peeing on his phone). The platform still exists and could be incredibly useful for Waystar (especially for a CEO who wants to take the company into the future). Waystar could ride a collapsing Gojo stock price into purchasing the company at a huge discount.

based on how little interest the CE-bros have shown involving Shiv in basically everything, she doesn't see a path to the top for herself going back to them. yeah she'll have a share of the money pie but they are all already infinitely wealthy, so only power matters now. Lukas at least makes her feel like she could gain real influence.

Ken hates Lukas probably more than anything he's ever hated before so a lot of it is vindictive. it's also his chance to do Vaulter 2.0 and drag Waystar into the 21st century. the financials may be bad but at least their app loads in under 30 seconds.

Dudes who play Tom and Greg are the best actors in the show.
Give them a spin-off. Tom and Greg go to Hawaii etc.....

for me it might be the strongest ensemble cast I've ever seen for a show...but I haven't seen them all (Breaking Bad, Wire, Sopranos etc.). There are video essays on YT for each main character and their acting mastery right down to the smallest body language details, it is phenomenal.

That was painful on so many fronts. Worse than Game of Thrones' final episodes.

I think it's been one of the best seasons of TV I've ever seen personally, and I think it's all brilliantly set up for the finale.

Thoughts on how this all ends?
I have Stewy or Sandy becoming the American CEO after Matson crushes Kendall/Roman and Shiv looks like she is going to win but Matson betrays her. Because why would you put a person with no CEO experience in charge of a large media conglomerate.
So in the end the Roy’s are wealthy but lost their fathers company the day after burying their father and their fathers enemies win.

Plausible. Logan never really thought much of his kids and this proves him right.
Poor Hugo though in that case. Woof woof.
