I do love Christmas parties though.
Rumours are those three games are going to be amazing.

Basically all of them.

The only time i miss games is if the flames are out of the playoff hunt or if i have the game PVR’d and i have the score spoiled for me.

Ive got two young kids so its harder to do that these days, but i make it work. My wife isnt a fan of hockey season.

A good 75+, sometimes I'm busy and I'll catch like the last period or something for a few of them but for the most part catch them all.

In-person: 2-4
Full game on live TV: 20-30
On in the background or on the radio while doing other things: 20-30

For games that I miss I always watch the extended highlights as soon as I can, and read Bingo’s Game Takes to get an accurate summary.

I’m old enough that I don’t take it for granted that I can watch all 82 if I want to.

About 60-70 games - Center Ice is a blessing.

Including speed views on PVR when I can’t watch live, 82

The past few years, include the coaching equivalent of wind chill, 92-95

80 - 82 Flames games a year for the last bunch of years (like 10-15 years). Add in 10-15 out-of-market games and another 20-30 playoff games a year.

75+ games per year.

Now, if it only counts if I have to watch from puck drop to final buzzer... maybe 10?

Come playoff time I watch at least one game per night, whether it is Flames or not.

I try to catch pieces of every game save for the one or two a year they play in Dallas and are blacked out by ESPN+. I probably watch 40-50 drop to buzzer, and catch a period or two of 75.

I'm in Fort Worth so when they play Dallas, I always get tickets. Looking forward to Feb 1st!

I try to watch all the games, but with life getting in the way, I'd estimate around 72 a year. If I have a commitment, I try to record the game and avoid the score until I'm home, but this is often difficult as it tends to come up at many events I have to miss a game for (hockey, work event, family event etc.)

As a kid probably 20-25 (HNIC and friends houses)

As a teen probably 60-75 (HNIC + I figured out how to stream games)

Now as a young adult about 60 (Sportsnet) and 5-10 in person.

From March 2020 to July 2021 I would say I watched 95% of the games.

Everybody in the house knows that when there’s a Flames game on I boot everyone off the main tv. This is basically the only time the kids know not to argue with me.

Usually ends up 70-75 but this year I haven’t missed a single one.

Big difference between full games and partial games.
Partial games: Probably about 2/3rds
Full games: Probably less than half.

I catch around 35-40 live on TV and attend roughly 2 games in Calgary or Edmonton per season. (I live up North so I'll wear my red proud in enemy territory) I do however catch all 82 games thanks to PVR.

I'll try and go media blackout on games i'll miss and watch when I get home.

Last year I think I completed maybe 10 or 12 full games. They hockey was so bad I just couldn't take it any longer.

This year, works getting in the way so I'd say maybe 5 or 6 full games so far. I try to tune in to them all but..

Maybe 3-5? I've watched more this season, might crack 10 before the playoffs.

Highlights, I'll watch maybe half the time.

I love to listen to games on the radio. I love using my mind to visualize and those guys to a great job at Fan 960. You can literally see the game in your mind.

Also, shout out to the Scorp! Love him on the show! You can tell the amount of prep work that goes into it and when he comes on it's like a balloon of hydrogen about to explode truth over the state of the team or issue at hand.
