Would be nice, but the top 6 forward is a lot easier to acquire.

I don’t have an explanation for this, other than that the Flames are worse at home.
Nearly all at home. So yes, 100% a home jitters issue.

If they can't get focused the same way they are on the road might have to move the boys to a hotel, 04 style.

Look up the Flames record when Valimaki plays.

We're going to finish too high and not get enough away games

Flames let the Jets off the hook. They could’ve absolutely buried them in the first, but they let a desperate team hang around who happens to be very good at coming back from behind. The Flames also didn’t get any secondary scoring and Hellebuyck out-dueled Markstrom.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind upgrading the right winger on the second line. Blake Coleman doesn’t appear to have the offensive acumen to be a legit top 6 finisher. He’s probably better suited as a 3rd line energy guy who can play in all situations. But another reliable finisher would be so much more helpful in the top 6.

3 wins in 8 home games isn't really better than anyone in the conference but Vancouver and Arizona and isn't good enough. It's still a small sample size, but their home record has killed them 2 of the last 4 years.

Its not all cause of Valimaki, but there's no denying the record with him in is superb.

At this point, the one Zadorov mistake leading to a GA per night is proving to be the difference in these home games.

The margin is small. Give yourself the best chance and try sitting him.

I think Zadorov has looked better on the road for some reason.

Maybe trying to impress the fans with big hits is putting him out of position constantly.

No way. Vladar been great in his role but Markstrom has done everything and more as a #1 thus far.

Nice hearing Chucky say how much he has enjoyed his time in Calgary, and it's a special place to him.

Anyone talking about the Lucic hit? Not that different than his hit on Rinaldo back in 2011 - he got one game for that. Although that one might have been more of a retribution type hit with more malice.

I for one lay the blame squarely on CrazyBaconLegs.

This is clearly and undoubtedly his fault.
