Keith's response actually sounds much like how Quenneville is purported to have responded in the moment.

Don Fehr should be gone immediately. What the hell is the point of the players association if you fail catastrophically at the most basic protection of a player's human rights? Absolutely despicable leadership from both the Hawks and the PA.

This definitely played a big role in derailing Kyle’s NHL dreams. Disgusting.

James Gary was employed with the Hawks until the end of last season and allowed to retire on his terms. That is just shameful and I think people need to be talking about him more and his role.

Incredibly brave. Awful, but important to watch.
I don't know how the leaders of that team can't now at least come forward with an apology and show some sincere remorse.

Such an amazing interview. Massive props to him. Didn't beach and Ferland fight all the time in the minors?

He may not have known. But it seems like everyone no longer in the NHL knew and everyone who still is playing or coaching did. Convenient.

It really seems like he's arguing semantics.
Paraphrasing: "I didn't know about it, but I know about people that did know."
Really makes it seem like he didn't know precisely, but knew something.

Quenville even today calling this a "distraction", no accountability, no remorse, no compassion. I think him lying about knowing what happened definitely increases his culpability and is enough to question whether he deserves to continue to coach in this league or ever again.

Disgusting behaviour by so many people in positions of power.
Having his teammates either turn a blind eye, or outright bully him for it as well... jesus christ.

Don't forget that Kyle Beach also played for the Bill Peters led Rockford Icehogs too, what an utterly rotten organization the Hawks were, from top to bottom. This poor dude has seen horrible abuse and toxicity his entire career because nobody at the top cared to act on anything.
I admire his strength to come out with all this info, plus his determination to keep his hockey career going despite all he's been through.

As a parent of two boys I just cannot imagine if it were my "babies" having gone through something like this (and it would be EXACTLY the same if they were two girls). Just made me weep.

Strip the cup win from them. Strike out the names. Take down the banner and remove anyone involved from the NHL.
Disgusting.

The denial from Quenville and Keith sound pretty hollow after watching this. What has Toews said about this?

The NHL teams cancelled their games in support of the BLM movement, I think the big names in the league need to push for a league wide protest ASAP.
Pause and reflect and out every single one of these bastards.
This is just unbelievable.
