If Gulutzan/Peters/Ward was still the head coach here, I’d be furious - but the fact that those three (horrible) coaches have all been fired means the organization has already corrected the wrong doing.
I believe had we been able to hire Darryl in the off-season of 2020 that Sam would be finding this success in Calgary, but it is what it is.

Calgary Bennett Vs. Calgary Monahan isn't a tough choice and you know it
Maybe they keep Giordano in this scenario but that is also 6.7M Cap hit to deal with
I would rather have Bennett in Florida plus a pick and a prospect than Bennett in Seattle

Yeah, but I’m arguing that Bennett under Darryl would have been this Bennett, and this Bennett > the last two years of Monahan. Regardless though, at the end of the day the Flames would have been much better off had they landed Darryl last off-season, and now that Darryl is here we thankfully no longer have to deal with the incompetence of the Gully/Peters/Ward days.
