"head on" as in face to face not to the back of the head
Lucic's punch and Tkachuck's lite tap to the back of the legs are probably the two least deserved suspensions in league history IMO. If you can think of someone being suspended for less I would like to hear it.
Tom Wilson the leagues biggest offender got nothing for purposely slamming a guys head into the ice don't forget.

That is called game management, it has been that way for years and it isn't just us. The truth is only half the game is actual competition between two hockey teams, the other half is the league trying to dictate the outcome.
Flames have certainly had more than their fair share for whatever reason
2 of the top 10 most controversial calls in HOCKEY history against the Flames
a relatively new team of 32 currently, plus they also looked at international hockey too
There is also an inquisition every time a Flames player dares to defend McDavid...yet players get tripped every single game. Gaudreau was slashed so bad he left the game and missed practice plus the next game yet a week later Tanev is answering questions about McDavid.

Definitely deserves a hearing. Wasn't the most high speed of hits, but even hits like that can really injure someone necessarily. Winnipeg player was definitely in a vulnerable position, and the hit was unnecessary. Wouldn't be overly upset with a single game suspension.
Hope Coleman keeps up the intensity, but just not while opposing players are getting up off the ice.
Unfortunate hit probably worth a game, certainly no more. I doubt her really meant it to turn out like that but made a decision.
Still not mutually exclusive of just general suckage of the refs. Still sore at the attempted wrist break by Keith on Johnny and nothing....
Is it bad I think this'll just bond the team more as being us and them and people are out to get us and they'll sink more and more into Sutter hockey? Hope so.
