I suppose we’re better off with our perimeter players who don’t make enough physical contact to even take a penalty in the first place...unless it’s one of Backlund’s lazy stick infractions.

it was in the defensive zone as the Yandle-Gudas pair were losing every footrace to loose pucks and Bennett's shift became long. Were you even watching?

Again, if you're trying to impede a player's stick from getting the puck, is it necessarily a slash if it happens to break by accident?
I very much dislike "automatic" penalty calls.
Oh, and then a goal was just saved by Acciari. Such an important player.
