The Flamea did not deserve to be in the playoffs. Just pointing out that if they go 500 like the Habs did (they were 4-4-2) they are in the hunt still.

Meh, Flames were never winning 4 in a row against the same team, no matter how bad the Canucks are, they haven't won 4 in a row all year. Our top guys would need a sliver of the clutch gene, which they've proved they don't have.

Play ALL the young guys, bring in Domingue, then shoot BT into the sun as soon as the season comes to an end. Enough of this garbage, this offseason is critical to the future of this organization. If they delay any sort of rebuild and try the old rinse and repeat philosophy, we are in a world of trouble.

I really hope ownership takes a enough is enough approach, as I suspect they did with the hiring of Sutter.

With this current group no. The L is inevitable. A reality check is much needed for ownership and whatever part of the management team that stays. This group of players is nowhere close to having what it takes to win in the playoffs and they must start building through the draft and not rushing anything like they did in 2015.

Treliving made the mistake of listening to too many voices in the room about Ward and being the coach they wanted because he wasn't a meanie.

If Sutter was announced a week after they lost to Dallas, there would be a little different roster on the ice and we'd be up with the Oilers right now, simple. Even with this roster, we'd be comfortably ahead of Montreal if Sutter was coach from game 1.

To that end, Flames need a decision maker above Treliving as that position in the Flames organization is rudderless after Burke leaving and King's passing. Davidson, come on down. He can decide Treliving's fate.

And, another year with black Blasty fire snot jerseys out of the playoffs. 7 out of 8 now.
