Unbelievable!! I think you are the only clown defending this POS!! Not surprised though, you probably think Kassian is a star too!!

Even if there is separate discipline coming for the Panarin thing, which I kind of doubt, that's still absurd. He Bertuzzied a defenseless player in the back of the head and neck. That's not a fine for anyone, let alone someone with Wilson's history.

Do the Rangers have any games left against the Caps?

Well then the NHL just ruined that game, and created an incredibly dangerous situation for players on both teams. Just having some Rangers plug fight Wilson doesn't solve this.

You know, I realize it's your shtick to always be the contrarian and somehow think you're the smartest guy in the room with your takes, but this is just terrible.

Did I offer my opinion on what I thought of the incident? I mused why the nhl may have left it without any discipline.

Could have done serious damage to both Buchnevich and Panarin.

Give him the boot please.

EDIT: Just saw the fine. Embarrassing.

I agree just a playoff type hockey scrum.
Most guys are smart enough to leave Wilson alone.
Thinking alot of the posters, if they even play, wear cages.

Tom Wilson needs to have a career ending injury occur to him since the NHL doesn't want to discipline him properly. Someone is going to get seriously hurt by him since they don't want to stop him.

So Lucic got 2 games for punching someone with a glove on who was facing him.

Wilson, a repeat offender, punches a guy laying face down on the ice, with a glove on, gets what amounts to a parking ticket.

Sounds about right

I hope the rangers target a smaller skilled guy on the caps. If the league won't step in the players have 2

The next person Tom Wilson goes after should sue him, the NHL and NHLPA for gross negligence for letting this POS continue approved assaults.

Capitals' Twitter account opting to lean heavily into glorifying their team's star putz, including this tasteful gem they decided to delete:
