IF they do, Montreal will be more or less in reach of the Flames and Canucks, except Vancouver and Calgary would have the potential to eliminate each other by splitting their four games. One or the other would have to take the bulk of points vs the other.
Really interesting situation. If either of VAN/CGY have aspirations to make it, they have to dominate whoever they have left on the docket.
Its all down to who wants it most of the three teams the rest of the way. I do sincerely believe the Flames when playing their best hockey, are better than the other two. Its really coming down to the desire in that locker room. Because I think they have what it takes, but they need to avoid beat themselves, and that is who has beaten them the most this season.
Chasing down Montreal and then eliminating the Canucks from making playoffs in a season ending series would actually be pretty awesome.
Why? I thought it was neat hearing the play by play in another language. Given that they're broadcasting HNIC games in 10 different languages tonight, it seemed very fitting.
