Darryl Sutter's coaching is the elite of the elite.

Darryl Sutter's post-game press conferences are stuff of legend.

They really didn't allow enough time to put the Ottawa losses in perspective. The Sens improved their play significantly after a month or so. It wasn't that Julien was failing at his job.

But now under the new guy they're definitely playing like a non-playoff team. Nice "adjustment" by the team and very Montreal.

I missed the game, actually at a baseball game tonight. By the looks of it, Flames didn’t give up much. And nice to see Monahan with some production. It would be nice to see him finish strong, for whatever the future may hold for him and the Flames.

It's the only thing now that will get the Flames after hours coverage.

In the last 10 games I would say the Flames played good-great in 7 of them

They still need some changes (more scoring) but I think they are a playoff team with a full year of Sutter

Yeah I didn't realize how circus-y the Habs media was until this year.

They embody the hybrid of obnoxiousness and excuse-making of the Oilers media guys rather impressively. A telltale sign of the media being a little too invested in their club on a personal level. Start making up kool-aid fantasies and seeing #### that isn't actually there, which stains their credibility.

Its well documented that this group gets complacent after any sort of praise. Smart move.

I agree with your assessment of their play so far.. But it can be very deceiving to rely on these end of season results. Remember Ward and his career win percentage?

Obviously having Sutter gives most of us great comfort and hope. But to get more scoring won’t be easy. Dollars in will more or less have to equal dollars out.

Should have been 5 or 6-1.

Great effort

Prior to the game he got injured he OWNED them.

If he brings more of that, we actually might have a sliver of a chance. Habs look to be swirling the edge of the toilet bowl.
