Just effing wonderful. Something to really look forward to.

Checking in for tonight's game - don't wanna get fined either.

(Actually, just seeing the bag reminded me of the Laffs fans with bags - both in Calgary and Toronto. For years. Hope that's not us.)
I don't think I'll ever have the audio on for a BOA involving Cassie ever again. It was insufferable early in the year when there was still hope, I can't imagine what it was like last time after the Flames had begun to spiral out of it.

They're all closet Oiler/McDavid fans that were just waiting to boast incessantly and I'm not going to listen to another second of that trash. Celebrating lottery benefactors that have defined ineptitude for over a decade and are led by two of the most entitled playes feels every kind of wrong, and they smile and eat up that s### with pig-like grins anyways. Losers, just like the club they pull for.

There's no awareness whatsoever.

Listening to pregame on the Fan, and IMO Sutter absolutely called out their conditioning through saying it was something he shouldn’t publicly debate.

I don't need to tune in to know that they will not.

I felt they were out of shape all year under Ward. Slow play, soft practices.

That will not be a problem next year.

TBF, Ward had little preseason and hardly any between game times. This was not the year for players to arrive out of shape, and I think they did.

Every team was in the same boat.

His practices, and his games, were low intensity.

When Sutter arrived, the Flames came out flying. But in each of the first 3 games, they were completely gassed by the 3rd period.

I know every team was in the same boat. I think the Flames came into camp out of shape from the COVID summer, and whether Ward’s practices were low intensity or not, TSN he short camp wasn’t gonna fix it. Remember Ward didn’t even have the job until Sept. so there was no coach phoning guys in the offseason. And I think a lot of these guys are not self-motivators.
