Hyman drove to the net past the Oilers defenceman (I think it was Jones). Then Jones went to push Hyman out of the way, but in doing so, Jones bumped into Smith himself, nailed the goalie with his stick and set Smith off on that special temper tantrum.

Smith realizing it’s near midnight and the oilers are going to turn into a orange pumpkin. Oh and there is tough guy Nurse trying to start something with the goalie. Then Bogosian grabs him and pussycat nurse hugs for dear life. Nurse has to be the dumbest player on the ice.

Rewound the overhead. Jones’ stick is across Hyman as they come across the net and it wacks Smith upside the head. Nobody else touches Smith and he flops into the net and shakes his helmet off. Then freaks out and goes after Barbanov.

Of course Dumb and Dumber in the booth are calling it a head hit by Hyman.

Oilers first team to be shut out by the Leafs in consecutive back to back games in 67 years.

Flames 6 points back of the Oilers, who are 2nd in the division still, with a game in hand, and 33 more to play.

Defensively they haven't looked half bad this year. That's always the area that I felt held them back. Could make noise, but this division is not a great measuring stick either.

Other than the Leafs the North Division is hot garbage. Still a chance the Flames can sneak into the playoffs.

Sam's got those intangibles. Leafs probably need to add a little.

I bet if it was a normal schedule they wouldn’t be this good. That’s why I’m disappointed with the Flames cause I thought before the season started they could easily be 1-2 in this crappy division and cruise into the playoffs no problem.

I know lots of games left but still this team just isn’t entertaining and look mentally weak.

The Sharks have made a come back to take a 3-2 lead in the third period.

North has better teams than Central I'd say. That division is truly horrible.

They are a pretty comfortable bet right now to play in the Conference Finals, but it sure feels like whatever team makes it out of this Division is first in line to get their asses kicked.

Are the Flames the only team in the division that haven't been shut out this year?

And to think, we nearly did the same thing to the Leafs last week...

What a difference a week makes, feels like ancient history now. I wonder how things might be different had we pulled that off.

Leafs only needed 1 shot on goal to win the game, first goal was the 1st shot.

Yeah, big deal. You watch him play regularly and what does he do that's remotely NHL level? Maybe one thing, and that's skate (he's fairly fast I'll give him that). That's literally it.

So yeah, point stands. He's quite junk.
