Thought they played well, especially defensively. Really great job getting their sticks in lanes and breaking up plays.
I'm a little concerned that we couldn't get anything done 5 on 5 though.

Last year with Markstrom on the other side of the ice, this would have been a 1-1 or 2-2 game going into OT. Nice to also steal your rivals MVP.

Love that powerplay move from the dot to the man in front of the net then one touch back to Monahan in the slot. Such a high skill play and this group pulls it off so often they make it look easy.

Flames held the fort. Great defensive game. They were the better team at 5v5 although it wasn't a super fast-paced game at even strength. They played steady hockey and their goalie made some nice saves when he was tested. Very well done by Markstrom.
