I have always had a soft spot for the Finns, great to see them pull off the exciting win. The emotions are so raw in this tournament. That's why I love the WJ's.

Awesome for the Finns. They like nothing more than beating Sweden.
For Sweden bad things do come in 3s.

I wonder if Juuso is lighting up the group chat with the Swede constituency.

Feels good as a Finn, and as a Flames-fan ofc to see Broberg there when Hirvonen scored the GWG.

Did you guys know that Broberg was dead and still tried to play this tournament?
That’s what I’m seeing on Oilers Twitter.

The player of the game is given a wallet from an Edmonton leather shop. This just doesn't seem like something that would happen in a glitzy tournament in 2021.
But of course...

That short clip of Broberg's interview with the Swedish media is tough to watch. Is he more upset about being eliminated from this tournament, or the ever-growing reality that he will have to return to Edmonton and stay there?

Does Canada have an alternate black uniform they haven't worn so far this year?

Holloway does nothing but go offside or turn the puck over. He'll fit right in with the Oilers.
