Ohhhh Zary just missed.

Amazing what he's done today with basically zero ice time. I guess the coaches have noticed, he's starting to see more ice.

Zary so close!

It looks like he and Pelletier are back on a line with Byfield again this game.

Damn, so close for Zary.

Another great shift from that line and het gets a nice tip in close and curl and shoot rebound that somehow didn't go in.

Pelletier is having another solid game, but I think he has been good every game.

Zary is having his best game of the tournament so far.

It is so cool that the two of them have spent so much time playing together, and they have looked really good doing so.

Be nice if that Zary/Byfield/Pelletier line was left together for a while. Been making something happen basically every shift today since Zary got a regular shift.

Bob McKenzie notes that Quinn has dropped down to the 13th F, and Zary has replaced him as a regular.

Pelletier a nd Zary are getting some love from the panel. MacKenzie also mentioned that Holloway's shifts disappeared toward the end of the period; something I also noticed.

Is that due to a lingering injury? I hate to compliment Oilers prospects, but I thought he looked pretty decent earlier in the period.

It could be an injury. Holloway moves well, is hard on the puck and good on the boards but it is pretty clear that there is a really low offensive ceiling there.

Quinn has been the least noticeable forward across all three games IMO.

Yeah, he looks like he's going to be a good complimentary guy that can dig pucks out of corners for higher skilled linemates and mix it up with some big hits. A little bit like Cal Clutterbuck, but with a bit more offense maybe.

Thinking more like a Zach Hyman. He'll get his points but only because he plays with the high offense guys. Don't see a ton of play driving ability from Holloway.

Even when Ottawa drafted him at 8, it seemed very odd. I know he scored 52 goals in the OHL, but he doesn't really seem to stand out in any one area (that I've seen so far).

As much as I want to get into this, the tournament is basically unwatchable until the semi-finals.

Great back check by Zary and sick lift which results in a very questionable penalty....

I guess Byfield is making me eat my words from earlier about him being quiet again today. Big night offensively for him and he is indeed more noticeable.
