Zary - Byfield - Pelletier has done a great job cycling the puck. It could be a line that sticks.

Canada just doesn’t seem to be skating today IMO.

Slovaks doing a good job of clogging things up but Canada just hasn’t looked quick.

Byfield, Zary, Pelletier starting to look good together in the third. I think they will be good with more time together.

"He's very economical in the net"

What the hell does that mean Ferraro?

Tomasino should probably have a role on the PP, great finisher.

It means he doesn't move around alot needlessly, and always finds himself in the right position.

But the word he should have used is "efficient."

It's also been very pleasant not having to hear the abomination if Edmonton's godforesaken goal-horn.

In case anyone is wondering the Slovak head coach is former NHLer Robert Petrovický, not Ronald Petrovický who played for the Flames.

Which is frankly disappointing.

That Canadian goal song sucks so badly that I’m happy to hear it less.

I wish the Flames had drafted Chromiak still. I wanted him with our Boltman or Chechelev picks.

In my opinion, Kuznetsov is having the best night I’ve seen him have in the offensive zone. He’s getting picks through. And he has still been good defensively.

I was just going to say this. He looks so much better this game both offensively and defensively. I guess he needed some time to get comfortable with his teammates, but he looks on track now. Really impressed with his game.

He had one shot from the point that looked like it was labeled for the net if not for a very good save from the Czech goaltender.

Absolutely, and I think Torie Peterson agrees with us too.

Yan Kuznetsov can absolutely hammer the puck with accuracy - he’s definitely more of a stay-at-home d-man but there’s offensive upside there. As he gets settled at the #WorldJuniors#, he could offer Russia a bit more punch on the blueline.

Zary and Pelletier played together at the U17 and had good chemistry, good to see them continue it.

Keep them together.
