Haha stupid oilers.

No goalie in his right mind would ever sign there unless he was completely nuts, or completely out of options.

Holtby's regular season save percentage last 3 seasons:

.907
.911
.897

Not too great. He does have a cup on his resume though.

I think it doesn't turn out as well as Canucks fans think it will. Just getting that on record.

Holtby is from Lloydminster too. Though maybe that just makes him more educated on the perils of Edmonton.

Caps have been a tire fire in their own end since Holtby left, so atleast he's ready for it!

It sounds like it has been an amazing six hours in Washington in Holtby's absence.

Numbers wise Holtby was significantly worse than Samsonov this year (.897 compared to .913)

Two years ago he was significantly worse than Grubaurer (.907 compared to .923)

He was marginally better than Phoenix Copely im the year in between (.911 compared to .905)

He should be able to have a save percentage right around .900 for the next two seasons.

Until this past season he was consistently good with one season of "great". This year he was a dumpster fire.
