You don't have to die to be permanently damaged by covid, and it can be extremely unpleasant even if you make a full recovery.

we don't have to pretend to care about everyone. I'm an Oiler fan and my only reaction to the news was thinking "sucks to be him" and then continued to go about my day.
I care more about the huge number of people who have symptoms, have been tested and are still going out in the community while awaiting their result. that affects me. McDavid doesn't.
