The Arizona Coyotes' first-round pick in 2021 will be forfeited as the result of a penalty sanction due to violations of the NHL Combine Testing Policy during the 2019–20 NHL season. The penalty includes the forfeiture of a second-round pick in 2020.[2]

The Coyotes don't have their first pick in 2021.
I was suggesting Flames 1st round pick in 2021 for Kuemper and Halls rights.

Jg was saying Flames ‘21 1st for Hall + Kuemper. Gio read it as ARZ’s 1st for some reason, which yeah - ARZ forfeited their 2021 1st.

Yeah I was thinking the prospect in my proposal was being switched for a 1st in 2021, which I'd like more (I'd then make a deal with Ottawa for Calgary's 2020 1st, the extra 2021 first in exchange for the Ottawa 2020 3rd or 5th).

Dreger on Insider Trading says there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest in Hall's rights.
Seems to think Hall will go through the process of free agency and listen to zoom presentations from teams on Friday and Saturday. The earliest he may make his decision is Saturday night or Sunday.
