Johnny was coming alive a bit last game, I predict he breaks through today.

Therefore, I will donate $20 to CP if Johnny does NOT get a point tonight.

20 per person, or do we have to split that?

I doubt the Flyers want him anymore. He’s not a Vigneault type.

Rangers have enough left wing talent.

He definitely doesn’t fit into Trotz’s system.

So of the “New York” area teams, I think Jersey is the only one that would have interest. I think the value would be something along the line of Johnny for one of Jersey’s mid first rounders and Damon Severeson (right side D played with Huska) and Myles Wood (a Bennett type). Flame smaybe throw in a Janko or Kylington to balance it out.

Yep, you do you man.
Well good thing he keeps telling us how he doesn't care though!

As for the game, even though Dallas had a ton of shot attempts last game, I think they will be looking to fire even more at the net looking for some junk to go in. Even though Klinberg has egg on his face proclaiming knowing Talbot’s weaknesses and then firing the puck consistently wide, one of these games like in game 1 and 2, they will get a pinball fluke goal or two.

Be interesting to see if the batteries are recharged for the hitting on both sides.

Hopefully a few good early shifts for the top line, followed by the consistent play from the other 3 has Dallas on their heels. Law of averages says the Flames can’t win another like last game, the aforementioned fluke bounces off skates to go in the net or to a wide open play, but I think the Flames come out better, and hopefully Dallas comes out a bit flatter.

My prediction is the Flames come out and play overall much better (and Talbot still plays well), top line included, but find themselves trailing going into the third because Dallas gets some puck luck. Similar to game 2 I guess, though the Flames will look better through 40 then they did Thursday.

Hopefully the refs call a consistent game. They have done ok, but IMO they got an extra pp each game that the Flames didn’t get for the same foul against (and then the Comeau broken glass thing, the actual literal definition of a delaying the game penalty).

I mean that seems so lame and boring to me. You would totally miss the edge of your seat excitement not knowing what the next shift brings. Its playoffs. Its intense. Its the time to be excited and nervous.

I understand why one might record it if they have lake plans but I dont understand checking the score and then only watching if the team wins.

Seems very bandwagonesque but maybe thats just me.

I honestly hope Klingberg keeps spouting off.

"Those checks didn't hurt they're wasting their energy"
-Hearing footsteps in the corners every time he has the puck

"Yeah we figured out Talbot's secret"
-Gets shut out and misses a wide open net

Keep talking #### bud.

If the Flames can come out with a good start and grab the lead, maybe Dallas gets caught pressing too much. As ling as we are not playing catch-up and wear the Dallas D down, I think they can do it!

Hopefully for Tkachuks sake hes not back for this game. It would be a little too soon given how he was rattled up.

Lol. Yes, nobody wants an electrifying 80-100 point winger that sells merchandise. Not to mention thinking Kylington has the same value as Janko which is pretty much none.

I do have concerns that Gaudreau's disappointing performance yet again in the playoffs is going to negatively affect his trade value.

I generally don’t like these afternoon games as it seems we never do that well. However, I’m feeling optimistic today and it’s also nice to see that other fans in the different time zones can enjoy the game live today. I’m predicting a gutsy 4-3 win today with goals from Bennett, Lucic, Dube and Giordano. Go Flames Go!!!

For sure, if the Flames go on a run and he is a passenger then it will be a lot of evidence that he disappears.

I was more worried if they lost the third game and they survived.

I hear ya, but I just don’t think that’s gonna be the case today. The team just has more resiliency this year than in years past. Looch has certainly been a big reason for that as well as playoff Bennett. Backlund has upped his game and Dube has gone to another level. Nope, I think we may take the Stars to the woodshed today.
