Then you don’t know what you are suggesting. “Pulling the plug” is complete non-performance and abandonment of the contract - a fundamental breach, which voids the contract.

Could not agree more. Would also add defensive systems add to the yawn fest. Nobody likes to see good strategic defence.

Also, I’m sure Dallas and Tampa Bay didn’t help. Nobody cares.

Default Sportsnet....owning Canadian TV ratings

Yeah Dallas Tampa final during the middle of the summer is worst case scenario for the NHL. Not surprised ratings were terrible. I’m a hardcore hockey fan and I watched next to none of it.

How, the NHL has supplied product to meet their end of the contract, Sportsnet has to broadcast to meet their end.

Yeah, I watched every Flames game and bit of pieces of other games.

Literally not a second of the Finals though because, Tampa and Dallas? Dont care.

That said, it almost certainly has to do with Soccer coming back, I've been more interested in that.

You know what....I think its the whining. Every day some story was coming out about the NHL and the players whining about this, that and the other thing.

"Oh, we're in Edmonton and we miss our families, and the bubbles suck!" and on and on it went.

So teams I dont care about whining about having to play in the summer. I lost interest. When the Flames were playing I was watching, after that? No dice.
