Gio's pinch isn't bad when he has a forward back covering. Except Dube didn't play the drop back properly.

Gio is suppose to make that pinch, that's been the Flames system for years.
Dube needs to be better aware of who his man is.
It's the forwards' job to support the pinching defenseman.

That was an awful pinch by Gio. There was a zero percent chance he got to that puck first, you could see it a mile away.

Gio's decision to pinch came late I thought. Still, Dube with a bad misread.
Two mistakes on one play, and we didn't get the resulting save. That's enough to cause a goal against.
