Dang, I don't think nhl live is showing the prelim games
Are you serious? That's really annoying. I know its a warm up game but its a bit of a slap in the face that the customers who paid for a full season don't get to watch.

You would think the NHL would want to get everyone hyped to watch the playoffs on Sportsnet/NBC or pay the $75 for the NHL Live playoff package by giving everyone access to these exhibition games.
Maybe they figure we're all salivating for it and will watch/pay regardless.
They better be. They start charging subscribers again today.
"To our valued subscribers,
With the NHL slated to return to play August 1st, we are writing to let you know that we will begin to charge monthly subscription fees again starting July 28th. A reminder that your billing date remains the same as it has always been. For example, if you normally get charged on the 10th every month, you will be charged again for the first time on August 10th.
We understand how challenging the last four months have been and we appreciate you sticking with us through the uncertainty. We are excited for hockey's return and are looking forward to providing a first class experience for our customers."
30 degree weather. Sunset at 10pm. Days away from August. FLAMES HOCKEY!!
With how brutal 2020 has been, it's a shining light of hope we have hockey once again and something to distract us from all the covid and US news we seem to be flooded with consistently. Will be nice to talk and focus on something fun.
Take a look at the MLB return to play "plan" (lol) to see what a gong show looks like. Things seemed so fragile a couple weeks ago but now this plan looks stronger then ever. Kudos to the league and PA for pulling this off so far and hopefully beyond.
Maybe the Flames will finally win a "season opener"!

Hahaha. Lights out hey?
Ryan is a good hockey player.

Oilers suck.
Ryan is good but he makes other bottom 6 guys look good too because of all the little things he does. Bennett actually gets worse with Janko (as does everyone IMO). I would keep Bennett in that spot and see if Ryan can actually get Janko to raise his game somehow.

The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
The exact lines I was hoping for. Let Talbot and Rittich split the game and whoever plays better gets game 1. If they play evenly give it to Talbot due to better training camp performance

Yes, because it is obviously very rational to make decisions based off a couple scrimmages during practice and demote a player who clearly showed his value during the regular season when it actually mattered.
