Baby back ribs pressure cooked until they can be cut with a butter knife, and then thrown on the BBQ with some KC sauce until charred. MMM-MMM good. Also, Chapel Hill Smoked Sausage from Chapel Hill Texas, BBQ until plump and and slightly charred- best tasting sausage in the world

What is it with people and fall off the bone ribs?
Ribs are supposed to have a little bit of pull and texture to them.

I don't know... It seems like the natural default is to compare ideal situations?
Jordan vs. LeBron doesn't mean you consider Jordan with a broken ankle compared to LeBron with a dislocated shoulder...
If you're comparison shopping tires, you don't mentally compare worn-out winters vs. brand new Michelins for your Porsche...
When debating Flames vs. Oilers, you don't compare the '97 Flames to the '85 Oilers...
I don't know, I'll be (hypotheically) choosing between the best sirloin and the most perfect burger (still sirloin)...

But then the argument goes the same in the other direction. Would I rather have an A5 28 day aged Wagyu Sirloin or an 80-20 hand ground Angus burger topped with lobster and truffle shavings? I mean an argument can be made for either of those.
Fact is, on average, a burger is going to be infinitely better than a sirloin steak. If you go to Safeway, grab some ground beef, turn it into a patty season with salt and pepper, grill it and serve it with the standard toppings, it's going to be much better than a standard AA sirloin, seasoned and grilled to medium rare.

I voted for hamburgers, assuming they were home cooked.
Funnily enough, I use ground sirloin for my burgers. 10% fat, enough to not dry out, but not too much to shrink the patty a ton after cooking.

You are welcome to your opinion, even if it is incorrect(which it totally is). But it is not fact.

This is a tough poll. I feel so much of a love of food is mood dependent. Snacks are different. They are different things with different flavours. Here were basically talking a bunch of different ways to cook delicious things. Do you want bacon or a pork roast? Well depends on the time of day and what other ingredients are attached to it.
I’m probably abstaining from this one.

Gonna be honest, really surprised with the first result again. Next round is up!

This makes no sense.
The option wasn't "dry aged A5 Wagyu". It was "sirloin". I don't know what anyone else did, but I took the cuts at face value and assumed a home cook was cooking them to the best ability possible at home with non-commercial gear. And with zero add-ons outside of maybe cheese or a sauce. So when I voted pork over beef tenderloin I assumed I was just eating a well cooked tenderloin of either meat. Not comparing a BBQ pork tenderloin vs a freaking Beef Wellington from Ramsay's in London.
I also wasn't voting on "what's less likely to be screwed up". Why wouldn't you assume they were all cooked properly? If that's the case I'll take hamburgers to the final thanks, because if I assume my mom's cooking in every bracket, that's the only one that she can cook to shoe leather and is still semi-edible.
Also, as Fuzz mentioned, your facts are not facts.

Oh no I missed Round 2! Pretty happy with the final four though. I'm going to pick hamburgers and prime rib with prime rib my choice for the final. Tough call though.
I'm also one of those that picked hamburgers over sirloin in Round 1. It was hard to decide since the cooking methods were not determined so I went with my favourite ways to cook at home. This means a heavily salted 100% ground chuck/rib beef burger pan seared to medium well versus a sirloin fried and butter basted in a cast iron pan. It's a tough call and despite sirloin being the "better" meat I just love burgers too much. I could probably eat a burger everyday but would get tired of steaks after a few days.

I think it'll end up prime rib beating out cheeseburgers in the final.

I'm thinking part of the reason burgers are getting so much love is their versatility, you can make them spicy, sweet, smoky, and even go a little off the wall with an egg. Pork ribs and sirloin, which I both prefer, cant compete with the options you have with burgers.

I don't understand you. Like, fundamentally, as a human being, I don't understand you. Is it just that you don't cook a lot of your own meals? I cook a burger at least once every two weeks. Beef, pork, chorizo, turkey...doesn't matter. A burger and some grilled veggies is a staple dinner 'round here.
