Using TSN's criteria, here's my team...

Roberts - Nieuwendyk - Iginla (C)
Gaudreau - Gilmour - Mullen
Tkachuk - Monahan - Loob
Patterson - Otto - Fleury

Suter - MacInnis
Giordano (A) - Reinhart
Regehr (A) - Macoun

Kiprusoff
Vernon

Foundation: Lanny

Coach: Bob Johnson
GM: Cliff Fletcher
Team President: Ken King

----------

I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that TSN picked Crisp as their coach because of the Cup, but for me, it's between Sutter and Johnson, with Badger Bob just ahead of Darryl.
This team is correct. HMs to Lanny, Nilsson.

May be late but the first player that came to my mind after the initial shock of seeing Dion Phaneuf on that list was Phil Housley and I was surprised to not see his name even mentioned as a possible substitute. He was awesome!

238 Pts in 328 regular season games with the Flames over 5 seasons, career 1232 Pts in 1495 games. There was some other great players mentioned, no doubt, just thought Housley deserved a shout out.

Reinhart with higher points per game .91 vs .60
I'm not a Phaneuf fan, but comparing points per game from Reinhart's era to Phaneuf's is borderline insanity

Mike Vernon GP 527 (262 Wins) .883 Save % 3.27 GAA 13 SO
Different eras my man. Vernon could have easily won the Conn Smythe in 89 and I think few would have even blinked.

In defence of Phaneuf, he was a beast on the Flames and only on the Flames.
His first 3 seasons were big.

I still wouldn't include him though.
