I really like Zac Rinaldo. I understand there’s close to 30 games left still and a lot can happen, but if he keeps being a reliable bottom line guy I’d throw him another contract in a heartbeat. He’s all heart. You don’t really notice that side of a player when he’s “the enemy” but he’s just such a nice, low cost player to have as an option.

I think Gaskal hit the nail on the head earlier: despite Lindholm being arguably our best C, having him at RW just makes our roster fit better. Backlund belongs at C, and our RW depth desperately needs Lindholm there.

Work ethic after getting embarrassed for a calendar year and just about everybody ganging up and bitching about them?
Work ethic is literally night and day these last 2 games vs. essentially the entirety of this season thus far. The problem they have is now we know they don’t actually suck it’s just a case of how bad do they want it which unfortunately is often not enough.

Backlund is much better at C than on the wing, and Lindholm is by far our best RW. I don't want Ward to put him back at C unless the team gets at least one top six RW, and preferably two.
