Habs best period of the season, perhaps the Flames worst.
Good combination. Lucky they're only down by 1.

Probably just as bad a period as the first Kings game this season

Reminds me a bit of the game the Habs played against the Oilers. They were all over them, then they faded badly.

Habs haven’t won in regulation in 9 games. But they look like world beaters against the Flames.

My God what a slaughtering so far despite the 1-0 score.
Hanifin and Hamonic need to fake injuries for the remainder of the game

Kinda strange to single them out when the entire team looks horrible right now. If they're not playing well they certainly have lots and lots of company.

It's like someone in Montreal invented a time machine and decided to test it out by bringing back the 1977 Habs and the 1998 Flames.

That was the 14th shot - he’s the only reason it’s close.

Great chance, almost tied it up. That would have been deflating to the Habs.

Ryan, lucid, dube have been ok, Brodie and Gio been ok, Rittich looks to be tracking well. The rest need to get it together, plenty of game to find how to stop sucking.
Damn so close there!

I think he still has so much potential being only 22...and I don’t think Hamonic helps things with how he’s played this year...but he might be the chip you could move for a guy like Nylander for example.
