Nill said he was made aware this weekend of a "material act of unprofessionalism." There is no connection to any past or present players per Nill

I think it could be coaching related conduct, but it must have occurred with the Stars. Unlike Peters thing which all occurred prior to being with the Flames.

Jim Nill said will not discuss the incident out of respect for those involved. Did say it had nothing to do with the recent points from the NHL BOG meeting. Also said no other employees involved. There was no criminal investigation involved

Jim had a run of DUIs while coaching in the past, wonder if he got another one and/or if this issue has become a bigger problem for himself, if so, i wish him the best/hope he cleans himself up!

No criminal acts (or atleast no criminal investigations).
Not conduct related to the team.
So I will keep my speculation to myself but I am speculating hard right now.

I think he's probably offside his morals clause, with some sort of non-coaching activity (gambling, etc). I think that's a far easier case to make than the Peters situation since it's activity within the term of the contract and there's examples of what it covers.

My guess, especially because people are being tight lipped, is addictions issues. If that is the case, I hope that he finds the help he needs and gets well. If that is the case, I also hope that he gets treated with dignity by the media, fans and player on the path to his recovery.

I kinda doubt this because addiction is really hard to deal with from a "firing" perspective.

There was one that he acknowledged. Was there really a run?
That would be criminal if it happened again.

This is true, unless they offered him help and he refused to take it.

I wonder if he had prohibitions from the previous one and breached them. That's a firing.

Espionage? He gave information to another organization? Technically not a crime but certainly unprofessional.

At this point, the only logical conclusion to be drawn is that he was in fact, behind Pizza-gate.

Why do you allow the "Snowflakes" to push you around so easily? We need a description for something more fragile to apply here.
