Honestly don't think the Flames deserved to win, but finally got some bounces their way. Hopefully they can build on this.

Can someone post gifs? I didn't catch the reactions. Thanks.

Slept through the game but was able to read the whole GT without spoilers
Sounds like it was a pretty awful game but thanks to Rittich they pulled out 2 points
He’s been so good, great to see him get rewarded

Rittich is starting to remind me of an exuberant version of Kipper. Really solid all game, if he makes a mistake, he swallows it and moves on. Tough to rattle. Fights for the save. Kipper used to let in the odd bad one low from a bad angle, but he’d always come back from it.

Might take grinding out an ugly win to gain some confidence back. You can tell they are totally in their own heads right now, hopefully this is the glimmer of light they need. Big win.

This is the 15th season that the NHL has had shootouts. The Flames now have 3 shootout wins this season. That is more shootout wins than they've had in 5 full seasons, and tied with their total in 5 more seasons.
It's nice to not feel dread the moment the buzzer sounds at the end of OT.

It's crazy how bad the Flames were in shootouts before, since we have Monahan and Tkachuk, which pretty guarantees at least one shootout goal.
