Very scary. I hope he is ok now and has no long term health issues.

Oh no. I saw that hit last night, briefly. No attention paid to it at all really, no replay, so it didn't seem too bad at the time. Here's hoping for the best, one of my favorites from day one! Be well soon.

Regardless - hope he is okay.

Epilepsy's another possibility. You can briefly lose your vision too when you come to after fainting.. hope he didn't experience that.

Was there a suggestion that a hit/concussion might be a cause?? I didn't see the game.

Pleased to hear he was responsive, hopefully that is a good sign. Thoughts with his wife and family, and of course TJ.

I sure hope he is OK. You don't want to see that happen to anyone.

Holy crap. Was slow seeing this news. Man, that’s awful. Brodie has been an important part of this team for years and years, hope he recovers quickly.

Someone mentioned it earlier in a comment. I think everyone is just trying to make sense of it, trying to come up with a reason.

I watched the whole game and didn't notice anything that jumped out at me. I think that might be jumping the gun a little. There are hundreds of medical reasons someone can experience a seizure. Or as mentioned it could just be convulsive syncope/fainting which again can happen for hundreds of medical reasons. The good news is he is awake and talking in hospital but I would not expect any immediate diagnosis if it was a seizure as it can be quite complicated to pinpoint cause when new. Just my pedantic 2 cents.

Hockey will always take a backseat to real life. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious. I’m 100% sure he’s had a CT head, I wonder if they’ll release the results or if that would be a FOIP issue.
