Urgency is something they have seemed to lack since the playoffs. They needs this to succeed.

I’d rather see Jankowski on the PP than Milan Lucic. Or Harvey. Or scorch. Or no one and just play 4-4. He only needs 1 min a period to punch someone.

I personally have no problem with Lucic on the PP. As long as he drives to the net and sets a screen. I don't want him trying fancy passes or set up on the half boards, I want him on PP2, in front of the net, trying to make life miserable for the goalie and maybe a puck bounce in off him once in a blue moon.

Francis isnt nearly as grating as Damian Cox was. But still, hes a terrible segway guy. And what was Francis' point in regards to sending Kylington down? Peter's was sending a message? To who? The team ? Kylington? I'm honestly flummoxed why a message would be sent to the kid who's been just fine.

That's the most chances PP2 has had all year. Should have had one of those.

He's pretty much just the Mark Spector of Calgary. He doesn't have a point, other than to get attention which leads to clicks on his articles.
How Sportsnet keeps going through cuts and this ####ing clown squeaks through has gone from puzzling to extremely annoying. His clickbait must be making them ad money

I agree actually. Net front presence is key for the 2nd unit. Problem is they rarely get to set up because they can't enter the zone.
But, I also think that even though he hasnt really earned it, Janko could use some reps on the PP perhaps to get some confidence flowing. Because he is still a million miles backwards of what he was even last year.
Maybe it's a player vs. Coachibg style clash. Because this hurts to see.

Both powerplays should just keep things simple, put shots low on net and crash for rebounds. You outnumber them.
Not every goal has to be a highlight reel tic-tac-toe. Teams need to learn how to score some ugly goals. They are always trying to force a low percentage pass.
