The maritimes so far are basically per 338s median seat prediction but down a point on vote percentage.

This is a pretty good start for the Liberals when there were hopes for the Conservatives to grab 10-12 seats in the Maritimes at some points in the campaign. Lots of close races still but 338 had them grabbing 24 seats at they are at 25. They're about 2% ahead of the aggregate polls.

Encouraging for the Conservatives is they seem to be about 4% ahead of the polling aggregates although hasn't translated into seats yet.

one of the best coverage teams I recall was a three member panel, with one person covering each headquarter. Some awesome discussion took place.

The CBC has apparently employees all of the formerly laid-off Alberta’s to cover this.

I’m watching whichever channel has the most analysts. Global in the lead so far with 13 talking heads. That’s in studio only.

I’m watching the football game, at 17-0 it more interesting then seeing them talk about tidings with 100 votes in.

I didn't think they were allowed to show these results a few years ago? I know it used to be that you'd turn this on at 8pm and they'd tell you what the election outcome was (basically).

No one show them CP, we would be back down to the first page of the first version of the Canadian Politics Thread if they could delete all the posts with misinformation about Trans Mountain pipeline.

CBC with a nice zinger at Doug Ford’s expense.

The CPC has better hope the Ford effect doesn’t materialize, because it may be a long night for them if it does.

In the last election the Libs swept the Maritimes, it looks like they've lost 9 seats at this point, that's not good news for the Libs.

The Green's winning a seat there is a surprise.

Kind of except if it is Fredericton, they have won a provincial seat in 2014 and grown to 3 in 2018

Yeah, that used to be the case, but it changed a few elections ago. They realized that with everyone online, it was impossible to keep the results secret.

They also changed the poll closing times so that the results aren't foregone when there are still a couple of hours left to vote in Alberta and BC.
