Why not? They had one of the all-time best regular seasons ever.

But you just said Torts is one of the best coaches in the league.

Well 3-0 the worst lead in hockey. If you bet $25 on Tampa right now you would win $100! and to win in regulation time a whopping $217!!

Islanders/Penguins looks like another Back and forth game.

If Columbus hadn’t blown a 2-0 series lead heading home last year I would believe it, but I can’t see them letting it happen again.

I think if the Jackets win this game they will win their first playoff series.

Lightning went full capitals. Spent all the winning magic on the regular season.

Good!

Hopefully the rest of the NHL beats each other up every series while the Flames-Colorado remains relatively powder puff.

On one hand, I loaded up on TB players in my play off pool.

On the other, it'd be pretty sweet to see them go down in 4 or 5.

That is a very quiet Tampa arena. After they stopped booing, that is.

Part of me wants to see Columbus blow another 2-0 series lead so we never have to see Tortorella in the league again. However, a way, WAY, larger part of me wants to see Tampa blow this season in the first round because that would be ####ing hilarious.

Rogers logic - two games playing at once. Put one game on 5 different channels and the other on the channel with much lower access.

Like i said in the other thread the Lightning haven't faced any adversity this year. Just cruised through the entire 82 games.

With every game that I watch, I’m less and less certain what is a penalty.

That hooking call that negated the Isles PP was awful. Then they proceed to let anything go for the next 10 minutes.

I've been able to appreciate Tampas season from a distance: best season in recent history, the genius of yzerman, knowing every point kuch got was a dagger in the heart of oiler fans.

But actually sitting down and watching them in the playoffs, I remember that I hate this gd team so very very much, and watching CBJ score 7 unanswered goals has been the second best part of playoffs so far.
